Book of Daniel (OT Studies)

The Book of Daniel is a 2nd-century BC biblical apocalypse with a 6th century BC setting.Ostensibly "an account of the activities and visions of Daniel, a noble Jew exiled at Babylon", it combines a prophecy of history with an eschatology (a portrayal of end times) both cosmic in scope and political in focus, and its message is that just as the God of Israel saves Daniel from his enemies, so he would save all Israel in their present oppression.

Systematic Theology 4

In summary, when we read the Bible, we hear the voice of God. Every word of the Bible is the word of God spoken to us. When we hear God’s voice in Scripture, we have a choice to hear and believe/obey or to hear and disbelieve/disobey. “Let us then make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall into the same pattern of disobedience” (Heb 4:11).

Systematic Theology I

Central to the growth of all Christians would be the understanding on doctrines surrounding their faith. This is why “Systematic Theology 101: Doctrines of The Christian Faith” was written. It is not simply for the one standing behind the pulpit, but for all who proclaim Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. So why bother with the understanding on the doctrines that are the foundation of your faith? The Christian must be willing to invest the time to understand what they believe and why! Such teachings are essential to one’s faith and are taught throughout the Word of God. For the Christian knowing what one believes is important, and will aid them to understand what the Bible clearly teaches.

Pauline of Epistle

The Pauline epistles, also known as Epistles of Paul or Letters of Paul, are the thirteen books of the New Testament attributed to Paul the Apostle, although the authorship of some is in dispute. Among these epistles are some of the earliest extant Christian documents. They provide an insight into the beliefs and controversies of early Christianity. As part of the canon of the New Testament, they are foundational texts for both Christian theology and ethics.

Synoptic Gospels

The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are the earliest surviving accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus. This course will provide a detailed examination of these texts, paying special attention to the distinctive portrait of Jesus that each gospels presents. We will study these biblical texts in their ancient contexts and discuss contemporary application. We will explore various theories regarding the so-called "Synoptic Problem": Which gospel do you think came first? But that's not all! We will also survey different critical methods in Gospel analysis such as literary, redaction, socio-historical, and tradition-critical. Best of all: we will have fun doing it!
